This project was designed through participatory approach where different key stakeholders such as community members, pupils, ward and village leaders as well as district officials were involved.
The project will strive to improve access to quality education through increasing attendance and performance rate of pupils in 15 primary schools in Karatu district. This will be achieved through improving teaching quality, strengthening primary school committees, creating a safe and conducive school learning and teaching environment as well as improving parents and community member engagement in the education process of their children.
