This project aims to improve the quality of life of children and youth in Namanga and Tingatinga wards by strengthening early childhood development, access to quality education, youth empowerment, and community child protection systems.
The project focuses on ensuring that infants and young children (0–5 years) grow up healthy, safe, and active through improved Early Childhood Development (ECD) awareness and services. It also works to increase access to quality pre-primary and primary education, including Early Childhood Education (ECE), by improving learning environments and facilities.
In addition, the project empowers youth aged 16–24 years to actively participate in social and economic activities that contribute to their own wellbeing and community development. At the community level, the project strengthens child protection mechanisms by increasing awareness, improving access to services, and establishing and strengthening Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) committees.
