The Board of Directors of Community Aid and Social Education Empowerment (CASEE) consists of five members, two women and three men.  According to our Board Charter, the primary responsibility of the Board is to uphold and implement the organization’s core principles as outlined in its key values and ethos.

In accordance with the Tanzanian NGO Act No. 24 of 2002, the Board holds ultimate accountability for the overall governance and operations of the organization.  With this in mind, CASEE has appointed a diverse group of professionals whose expertise aligns with the organization’s mission and the needs of its programs.  The Board includes a human resources specialist, an accountant, a civil engineer, an economist and development expert, and a professional nurse, each bringing valuable insights and skills to support the organization’s strategic direction and impact.

At the management level, the organisation is led by the Executive Director, who is accountable to the Board of Directors.  Under the Executive Director are the Programme Manager, Programme Officers, Accountant, Administrator, and support staff, which include a driver and an office attendant.  Currently, CASEE has a team of 10 staff members, four of whom are women.  In addition, there are two volunteers, a female and a male, who work together with the organisation’s technical team.  All members of the program team hold at least a bachelor’s degree and bring extensive experience and expertise across various development fields, including education, child protection and safeguarding, rural and community development, gender, monitoring and evaluation, environmental conservation and agriculture, and financial management.  All CASEE staff are based in Arusha City, with operational areas extending to neighbouring districts such as Karatu and Longido in the Arusha Region, as well as Kondoa District in the Dodoma Region.
